BDO History

BDO Albania was established in December 2010 in cooperation with BDO Croatia doo and PBM ltd a leading domestic company. Both companies have an experience of more than 15 years in audit, accounting and tax services. BDO Albania is a member firm of Albanian Institute of Chartered Accountant (IEKA).

Background of Partners

BDO Croatia d.o.o.

REVIZIJA ZAGREB d.o.o. was founded in 1993 when the first audit law passed in Croatia and under current legislation it is licensed to perform auditing, tax and financial consulting and bookkeeping services.

On 2 January 2008, REVIZIJA ZAGREB d.o.o. became a member of BDO Group and changed its name to BDO REVIZIJA ZAGREB d.o.o. At the end of 2009 BDO Group adopted a new corporate identity changed its name to BDO Croatia d.o.o.

PBM Ltd.

PBM Ltd. was founded in May 1998 as a firm of chartered accountants based in Tirana, Albania offering accounting, auditing, tax services and business advisory.

In October 2001, PBM  established a special unite for external audit that has been registered in Albanian Institute of Chartered Account (IEKA) by the decision Nr. 28, date 22.10.2001.

Throughout a period of more than 10 years the company has assisted multinationals, domestic companies, banks, insurance companies, government, municipalities, international financial institutions and NGO-s.
